Raptor 50 Titan build photos
« on: February 06, 2009, 10:41:00 AM »
I decided I would snap a few photos while I build this new heli for those of you who haven't seen the inner workings of a nitro heli before.

1. Frame assembled with the fuel tank, main shaft bearings, and the start shaft with bearings and clutch bell.
2. Left side of the OS 50 Hyper nitro engine w/ clutch, fan, and governor sensor installed.
3. One of the two magnets glued in for the governor sensor to detect.
4. Clutch mounted to the front of the engine.

Looks good, are all the Hyper items special, or do they come with the kit?

Not sure what you mean by "all the Hyper items"?
The Raptor Titan kit was $349 and includes everything in the photos except the governor items and the motor.
The OS 50 Hyper is the motor.  It was $190.
From what I understand is it is the same old OS 50SX ringed heli engine with the larger blue "Hyper" head and an improved carb.
The governor is the Throttle Jockey Pro I had on my previous Hawk and Raptor 30.

Here is a link on RC Universe of a build review the kit and motor.

Good Morning,

I just saw mention of "Hyper Clutch", "Hyper Magnets" and thought they were special.

Oh - I see what you are reading - the photo file names - I just called them that to remember what was in the photo.
